Dysfunction
- - Dysfunction Lyrics - -

Staind's second album Dysfunction came out on April 13th, 1999. Oddly enough, the date 4/13 connects to a few things. For example, Aaron's Birthday falls on April 13th, the 413 Hardcore scene in MA, and the date Dysfunction was released. I think there might be something else but I can't remember.

Anyway, Dysfunction was released on April 13th, 1999, blah blah blah, and eventually went platinum after the album's 3 singles (Mudshovel, Just Go and Home) got decnet airplay on MTV and radio all across the country. The album set the standard for the band's future material, being hard as shit an routhless in it's metal attack.

I remember when I fist got Dysfunction (who could forget? It's like JFK, or the Space Shuttle blowing up, you just remember where you were and what you were doing at the time). My friend had higly reccomended it to me, and since it was like $9.99 I decided hell, why not? Anyway, I listened to it in the car on the way home cause I had some high ass expectations, and I remember 2 songs in paticular blew me away (Home, and A Flat). I eventually recorded my own version of A Flat, but let's not talk about that. And don't you dare email me about "Oh! I wanna hear your version of A Flast cause it's NEVER gonna happen (I'm sorry, I'm just embarassed cause I sucked it up so bad)

So, if you have some money, and don't allready have the platinum-certified gem, go out and buy Dysfunction. Hell go out and buy it again if you've got a copy. Never hurts.

Released: April 13th, 1999 through Flip/Elektra Records
